Life’s Journey
I saw this saying and so many thoughts came to mind – I share them below with you….
Unbecome everything you don’t want to be
Unbecoming the hurts, habits, and hang-ups I’ve gained from toxic situations. Learning to shed and unbecome the parts of me I don’t want to be. Recognizing the parts of me I’ve pushed below the surface that are pieces I’ve been missing. The bits and pieces that when reshaped as the potter reshapes the clay, becomes a beautiful piece of art that is a one-of-a-kind, priceless person – ME – the me that is unconditionally loved and chased after and reborn through my savior Jesus. Not without hard work but with the strength given to me by God alone. So, life’s journey, isn’t just about becoming but also about unbecoming to find our core person that is really us.
Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we area all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8
